               This curious world we inhabit is more wonderful than convenient; more beautiful than it is useful; it is more to be admired and enjoyed than used.  It says that our ancestors used to worship animals, rivers, mountains, trees.  Now, can this be called a mere blind belief? "When snow falls, nature listens".... When we , the trekker friends discussed on having a Himalayan Trek all that was in mind was Snow.! The level of excitement was too high. With a well known guide, we , group of 13 friends got a Customized trek package for "Buran pass". It was the first that we came across the name of this trek and it sounded thrilling too. Being a hodophile, it was since my childhood I used to feel ineffeable about bikers, bikings, and roads. The beauty when it goes along with curved roads, the ease of it on highways, the excitement in off roads , the sound of bikes from biker groups when they pass through used to leave me in awe. It was when I came to Bangalore I got accompanied by few friends who loved road trips, trekking and adventures. I got a little lucky here I would tell. Slowly started to go on bike trips long and short distance only to see how these roads excites the bikers…the happiness in their eyes when they first time see and learn that there is another biker in and around. ಕುಮಾರ ಪರ್ವತ... ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ಟೈಮ್ ಇಂದನೂ ಬಹಳ ಕಾಡಿಸಿದ್ದ ಕಾಯಿಸಿದ್ದ ಚಾರಣ. ಎಲ್ಲದಕ್ಕೂ ಶುಭ ಘಳಿಗೆ ಬೇಕೂ ಅನ್ನೋ ತರ ಕೆಲ್ಸಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿ ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷ ಆದ್ಮೇಲೆ KP TREK ಕನಸು ನನಸಾಗೋ ಕಾಲ ಬಂದಿತ್ತು. ಹದಿನಾಲ್ಕು ಜನ ಚಾರಣ ಪ್ರಿಯರು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿಂದ ಸುಬ್ರಮಣ್ಯ ಟ್ರೈನ್ ಓಡಿ ಓಡಿ ಹತ್ತಿದ್ವಿ...ರೈಲು ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರ ಜೊತೆ ಬೇರೇನೆ ಅನುಭವ. ನಗು...ಕಥೆಗಳು...ನೆನಪುಗಳು...ಹೀಗೆ ಸಾಗಿತ್ತು ಪ್ರಯಾಣ. ಆವಾಗಾವಾಗ ಬೇರೆ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರ ಹತ್ರ ಬೈಸ್ಕೊಂಡು ಮುಂದುವರೆದಿತ್ತು ನಮ್ಮ ರಥ..ಮಧ್ಯರಾತ್ರಿ ತನಕ ಜಗದ ಆಗು ಹೋಗುಗಳ ಬಗೆಗೆಲ್ಲ ಮಾತಾಡಿ, ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ಮಾರ್ವೆಲ್ ಗಳೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಲಿಸ್ಟ್ ಮಾಡಿ... ಮಲ್ಕೊಂಡು ಏಳೋವಾಗ ಗಂಟೆ ಸುಮಾರು ಐದು..ರೈಲ್ವೇ ಸ್ಟೇಷನ್ ಇಂದ ಸುಬ್ರಹ್ಮಣ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸರಕಾರಿ ಬಸ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು ೩೦ನಿಮಿಷ ಪ್ರಯಾಣ. ಬಂದು ಫ್ರೆಶ್ ಅಪ್ ಆಗಿ ಎಕ್ಸ್ಟ್ರಾ ಲಗ್ಗೇಜ್ ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ರೂಂನಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟು ಒಂದು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಬ್ಯಾಗ್ ಹಿಡ್ಕೊಂಡು ಅಲ್ಲೇ ತಿಂಡಿ ತಿಂದು ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ಹಿಂದಿನ ದಾರೀಲಿ ಚಾರಣ ಸ್ಟಾರ್ಟ್ ಮಾಡಿದ್ವಿ. ಇದು ಎರಡು ದಿನಗಳ ನಡೆ ಆಗಿರೋದ್ರಿಂದ ಟೆಂಟ್ ಗಳು ಅಗತ್ಯ. ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲೇ ಹಲವು ಕಡೆ ಟೆಂಟ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಬಾಡಿಗೆಗೆ ಕೊಡುವ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯ ಇದೆ. ಮುಂಗಡ ಹಣ ಪಾವತಿಸಿ ಟೆಂಟ್ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹಿಡ್ಕೊಂಡು ಅಲ್ಲ ಅಲ್ಲ...ಹೊತ್ಕೊಂಡು ಸಾಗಿತ್ತು ನಮ್ಮ ನಡೆ. ಮೊದಲ ಕೆಲವು ಗಂಟೆಗಳು ಕಾಡು ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಕಡಿದಾದ ದಾರಿ. ಕರಾವಳಿ ಆಗ...
